New Café Nilo's in Lesum: taste experience meets fresh ideas!

Hindenburgstraße 49, 28717 Bremen, Deutschland - A fresh wind blows through Hindenburgstrasse in Bremen-Lesum. There Neilam Safi and Fahim Hakakzada opened their new café and restaurant called "Nilo’s", opposite the Lesumer Marktplatz. The young couple, who starts as a career changer in the catering trade, quickly made a name for itself in the scene and has already received positive feedback on the Internet. Before that, they operated a small bistro called "Back’n Snacks" near Bremen Airport. Now you present your passion for gastronomy in a charming restaurant that offers 40 inner and 8 outdoor spaces and is known for its inviting atmosphere.

What makes Nilo’s special? On the one hand, the continuous availability of the breakfast offer, which even includes an oriental breakfast. Especially the Matcha, a Japanese green tea, as it is freshly prepared, is very popular. It is also planned to offer tea from real Afghan saffron. At lunchtime and in the evening, guests can look forward to a varied menu, which in addition to Bowls also includes pizza and baguettes. Of course, the coffee time is taken care of- the cake and cake counter invites you to linger.

a new gastronomic model

The two founders bring interesting backgrounds. Neilam Safi has studied law with a focus on asylum and migration law and criminal law and operates a law firm in Bremen next to the café. Her partner Fahim Hakakzada studied architecture and civil engineering. Her decision to discover the localities and renovate them for Nilo’s shows that the couple has a good knack for their new project. Helen Safi works in her law firm during the week, while Fahim heads the shops in the café.

The concept follows an animal -friendly approach, so that four -legged guests are also very welcome. While Nilo’s attracts families, churchgoers after church services and guests of all ages, the café also relies on a present online presence. According to industry reports, 80 % of the restaurant visitors look at the website of a restaurant before their decision, and the importance of online orders has increased enormously in recent years.

door to gastronomy

In the catering industry, competition is hard, especially in times of changes and challenges. According to G in September 2023, the number of employment in the host industry was still 6.7 % lower than in the pre-Corona level. Here the drinks bar is particularly affected, with a decline of 34.5 %. A big problem that also affects many restaurants and cafés.

But Nilo’s shows that it can also be different. Good reviews and an appealing offer could help the new café to assert itself in the Bremen catering market and maybe even survive as one of the few new restaurants in the coming years. It is interesting to see that 50 % of the hospitals in October 2022 had gross hours of gross earnings below the low -wage limit, which underlines the relevance of a successful concept like Nilo’s.

With the Café, Neilam and Fahim add a new facet to the culinary offer in Bremen-Lesum and let lovers of oriental cuisine and hearty snacks get their money's worth. So if you feel like a break, you can already find a place to relax and enjoy in the new Café Nilo’s.
