SVGO starts with fresh wind: new talents for the association league!

The anticipation for the new season is written on the face of SV Grambke-Oslebshausen (SVGO). Since June 10, the team has been preparing for the challenges of the association league. What are the reasons for the early start? A new coach, the promotion to a higher league and many fresh faces in the squad demand players, as coaches Torben Müseler explains. "We have to create the physical and mental prerequisites in order to be able to survive in the association league," says musseler. Weser-Kurier reported.

Last season, the SVGO scored an impressive 39:13 points in the Landesliga. Now the team faces the challenge of adjusting to a higher level of performance. The team emerged from the Landesliga as a clear winner and has now decided to take the step into the association league - a decision that was not originally planned, but is considered a strategic train to win new players for the club.

new face, fresh wind

With a squad that includes many players over 30 years, the SVGO also gains younger talents. The team welcomes seven newcomers, including five players aged 21 to 25. Most of the new came from HSG Schwanewede/Neuenkirchen II. In addition to the young talents, those responsible also focus on experienced forces such as Torben Pilger (32 years) and Steffen Zerjatke (36 years), who are supposed to bring their experience into the team.

The promising newcomers include Fabian Blumenröther (23 years), Jonas Zuz (23 years), David Marzian (21 years), Nils Rosebrock (22 years) and Frederic Ovens (25 years). Trainer Müseler has a cadre of around 20 players in view, and each position is double -occupied. The departures, especially that of striker Felix Fuchs (235 goals), must be cleverly compensated in order to continue to be successful.

intensive preparation

The preparation includes up to four training sessions per week, supplemented by test games. The SVGO is well positioned for any encounter: planned test games are on the program against prominent opponents such as the HSG Grüppenbühren/Bookholzberg, HSG Delmenhorst, SG Findorff and TVDH Oldenburg II. These tests show the players where they stand and what can still be worked on.

The first official appearance in the new season is scheduled for the weekend on September 13th and 14th. The team will meet eleven different opponents. There are also two regular relegations in the association league, the new opponents TS Hoykenkamp and TuS Bergen will also mix up the league. The season ends regularly on May 2 and 3, which means that the players have a lot of opportunity to prove and develop.
