Bremen youth fire brigade is preparing for the coveted performance clip!

in Bremen is currently being trained strongly for the performance clip of the German Youth Fire Brigade. At the district sports facility on Egon-Kälerer-Straße in Arsten, nine committed young people came together to prepare for the upcoming challenges. This award, the highest recognition for members of the youth fire brigade, will be ceremoniously presented on June 21 in the Burgwallstadion in Bremen-Blumenthal. Visitors are welcome to cheer on the young talents.

The competitive clip is not just a valuable badge; It is also the touchstone for the team spirit and the skills of the participants. As Weser-Kurier , the prospective fire brigade members from Arsten, Huchting and Seehausen are determined to prove their services place. In order to receive the award, the young people between the ages of 15 and 18 must be a member of a youth fire brigade for at least one year and perform various tasks. Teamwork and joint training are in the foreground.

The requirements for the participants

In order to be able to score with the competitive clasp, the participants have to successfully master five disciplines. These include shot puts, a 1500-meter run and a fire-fighting attack. The requirements are high and actually represent a real challenge. For example, the shot puters have to carry a 4-kilogram ball over at least 55 meters. For young people, this means having a good hand and showing the necessary perseverance. In addition, tubes must be interpreted and coupled within 75 seconds as part of a speed exercise, while the extinguishing attack requires precise simulation of water withdrawal.

Each participant is not only evaluated individually - the overall impression of the group also plays a crucial role in the assessment. So every teenager must be reliable and be able to work well in a team. As Fire Brigade Magazin is more than just an award-it is also sign of social engagement and calls for young people to participate and with each other.

A look at the participants

among the participants from Arsten can be found Greta Ebert and Jamie-Lee Ellrich. Huchting is represented with Marie-Sophie Behrens, Findus Gramberg, Max Reichenbach and Paula Steinbrecher, while from Seehausen Taavi Küster, Nils Feldmann and Felix Klusmann.
