Burglary in Neustadt: two new cars worth 140,000 euros stolen!

In the night of July 15, 2025, a brazen slump occurred in a car dealership in Neustadt on Eutiner Strasse. At around 3:00 a.m., an employee of the security service discovered a slice and immediately alerted the police. The investigators of Commissioner 13 of the district criminal inspection in Lübeck made the evidence of evidence in the building in the early morning and now request witness information on suspicious persons or vehicles that were observed on the night of July 14th to 15th, 2025. Notes can be given on 0451/1310.

Two new cars were stolen during this break-in, including a dark gray metallic Audi Q8 55 TFSI worth around 100,000 euros and a light gray-metallic Skoda Oktavia station wagon, the value of which is estimated at around 40,000 euros. According to [bild.de] (https://www.bild.de/regional/schleswig-holstein/einbruch-in-autohaus-neu-zwei- Neuerwagen-6877bbbd6f531b634009700f), the investigation is underway.

a difficult year for car dealership owners

A look at the general situation shows that thefts are apparently increasing and in car dealerships. In other regions, such as recently in Ansbach, there were burglaries where cash from sales rooms was stolen and the perpetrators tried to break into a nearby car rental. However, the perpetrators were not caught this night in January 2025 - the amount of the damage remains unclear to this day, reports police.bayern.de.

Another aspect that is important for affected car owners is the financial consequences of car theft. The partial comprehensive insurance jumps in such a case and replaces the replacement value of the vehicle, minus a deductible. In addition, the insurance also assumes damage caused by the burglar acts, such as car windows taken. This is particularly important, since in such situations, customers often not only fear the financial effects, as on gdv.de is explained in detail.

looking for witnesses

Back in Neustadt, the police are looking for witnesses who can provide information on the slump. Again and again it becomes clear how important the participation of the citizens is to clarify such crimes. Anyone who noticed suspicious activities on the said evening should not be afraid to contact the police. Any hint could be the key to clarifying these acts.

The latest incidents should not only encourage the police, but also the car owners to think. Security systems and comprehensive insurance are now essential to protect themselves from such attacks.
