The weekend is imminent and Bremen has something to offer in the first week of July! From July 1st to July 7th, locals and visitors can look forward to an exciting program that ranges from theater to photography to musical highlights. The start of the street theater tour "From north to west" will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 1st, in front of the Schaulust at the freight station, where the Company Balades Perdues presents its production "Iris", a wonderful mix of acrobatics, dance and juggling. In addition, Marie Elin Schmitz from the new circus will show her impressive air artistic number "Threading Lightness". You shouldn't miss out such arts! Further performances will be scheduled for the next few weeks, on July 8, 15 and 22, the artists will go on tour again to inspire the audience.

Another highlight for all knitting enthusiasts is the open knitting and crochet meeting in Lena's Wollstube on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Here you can learn new techniques with free admission and without prior registration with a cozy evening or simply exercise your craft.

Wednesday brings two interesting events. A workshop for analog photography takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. in the ISO Club in Industriestrasse, and admission is free. At the same time, a lecture entitled "Hot city and cool head: How Bremen prepares for heat" at 6 p.m. in the forum at the cathedral courtyard to think and discuss.

On Thursday, July 3, the 23rd summer wood workshop opened on the Emmawiese. Here you can simply come by from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and participate - a toll -free opportunity to get creative. There is also the final event of the “Experience your market” campaign on the cathedral courtyard, where a lively market drive will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

on Sunday, July 6th, you should definitely visit the 21st memory market on the XI memory, which opens its gates from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Another highlight of the day is the choir and orchestra of the University of Bremen, which performs Majestic "Messa da Requiem" at 5 p.m. in the Glocke concert hall. Monday, July 7th, brings us a course for "Intuitive painting in summer" in the Kulturhaus Walle from 10 a.m., while a bicycle and bulli excursion to the picturesque Hof Bavendamm in Blockland starts at the same time. Here everyone can let their creativity run free and enjoy nature. Participation in the excursion is free, only for coffee and cake you should pay yourself. Registration for the excursion is required.
