Bremen politics loses a pioneer with Bernt Schulte zu Berge

An important chapter of Bremen politics came to an end on May 28, 2025 when Bernt Schulte zu Mountains at the age of 83. Born on March 3, 1942 in Berlin, the former senator not only leaves the political heritage, but also a lasting impression in Bremen's civil society. Schulte zu Berge was also a formative person of the CDU Bremen, who was founded in 1946. He was a member of the Bremen Citizenship for over 20 years and participated in various deputations and committees. From 1975 to 1985 he was heavily involved in the CDU state board. The CDU Bremen now has 1,840 members and has always played an important role in Bremen politics.
