Blumenthaler SV crowns in the final of the Schmidt & Koch Cup!

Blumenthal, Deutschland - The Blumenthaler SV won the 14th Schmidt & Koch Cup of SV Löhnhorst last weekend. With a 4: 2 in the final against the VSK Osterholz-Scharmbeck, the team secured the tournament victory and showed a strong team performance.

In an exciting final, however, the VSK Osterholz-Scharmbeck only competed with its second team. The reason for this was that the first team was also challenged in the final of the Bornreiher Sportwoche and in a district cup game. Despite these circumstances, the Osterholz-Scharmbecker offered a respectable performance, which also highlighted coach Halit Cengiz in his praise hymns for the players.

The way to the final

The Blumenthaler took the lead early. Hugo Weber shot the 1-0 after seven minutes. Marin Vukoja made the preliminary decision with another goal. Mika Wagner and Hugo Weber also entered the goal scorer list. The self -confident game of the Blumenthaler was particularly remarkable, with coach Malte Tietze was positive after the first half, but saw potential for improvement after the change of sides.

On the other hand, Maxim Süß achieved a penalty for the VSK after Marlon Vogt committed a foul. Nikolai Süß, usually set up as a striker, showed some important parades in the Gate of the VSK so as not to make the result higher. A curious goal scored by Schramm, which was considered half a own goal, and thus caused a little tension in the final phase.

placement of the other teams

In the game for third place, the SG Aumund Vegesack prevailed clearly 7-0 against SV Löhnhorst. Mahdi Matar was particularly striking and contributed to the high defeat of SV Löhnhorst, who also had to deal with several failures. Coach Torsten Kentel demanded more resistance and reduced individual mistakes from his players. But despite the adversities, SV Löhnhorst remains optimistic and works on its weaknesses.
