The students suggest that they set up offers for children and adolescents in the empty shops and to create space for regularly taking place. Smaller projects, such as the installation of public toilets and waste bins with bag donors, are to be addressed immediately. In the long term, a redesign of the Bahrplate are desired, which takes into account both social and historical dimensions.

A proposal by the students provides to transform an unused parking lot next to the rental blocks into a playground. In addition, part of the street should be temporarily re -changed to a play street. It turns out that the challenges in George-Albrecht-Straße must not only be solved with urban planning changes, which is why a social plan is required. The Senate has already bought almost 70 out of 90 apartments to improve the living situation.

The renovation plans for the Blumenthaler center provide for a comprehensive upgrading of the marketplace and the public use of the historic town hall on the district administrator-Christian-Straße. This is not just about combating vacancies, but also about regaining the center as a living place. The educational sector is also to be strengthened by the redesign of the former Bremen Woll combing into a vocational school campus. This development is part of a larger renovation concept that is to be implemented over the next 15 years with a total of 21 million euros, as [Spot-Bremen] describes.
