Free -air cinema Lux: Eight films for nature in the north of Bremen!
In the north of Bremen, it's going to be round again, because the popular open-air cinema series Lux Freiicht starts the third round! Organized by the Chamber of Employees and the Bremen business development agency, this year will be from 5. July until September 6, 2025 shown a total of eight exciting films. The series is part of the Bremen theme year "Naturally human - man in nature", which coincides perfectly with the motto of the series of events: the relationship between man to nature.
After the success last year, when around 700 visitors found their way to the film screenings, they have decided to include new venues. Admission is free as usual, but visitors should keep an eye on the weather conditions, as there may be relocations or cancellations.

Here is an overview of the films and their appointments:
- course southwest - the adventure of my life - a documentary about Lukas Borchers' trip through southern Europe. Shown on 5. July at 7 p.m. in the Rönnebeck canoe club.
- i am the River, The River is me -addresses the Whanganumi River and the Maori nature understanding. Shown on 24. July at 7 p.m. at Tura Bremen.
- The dead birds are - this documentation tells of the great -grandfather of the director and climate change. Shown on 25. July at 7 p.m. in Schönebeck Castle.
- where the rivers disappear - live in the water crisis - an informative documentation about the global water crisis. Shown on 31. July at 7 p.m. at Tura Bremen.
- The visions of the Claudia Andujar - a portrait of the photographer and activist in the Amazon region. Shown on 7. August at 7 p.m. in the Kränholm house.
- against the electricity - Woman at War - a film about an environmental activist in Iceland. Shown on 27. August at 7 p.m. at Constructor University.
- Loving Vincent - a captivating animated film about Vincent van Gogh. Shown on 5. September at 7 p.m. in the Roselius Garden.
- Flow - an animated film about animals and a flood disaster. Shown on 6. September at 7 p.m. in ecology station.
lux goes lucie
An additional highlight is the event "Lux Goes Lucie", which presents five films on Lucie-Flechtmann-Platz. Here visitors can experience several interesting films:
