The festival attracted a large audience again: around 65,000 visitors were there a day, which was 10,000 less than in the previous year, but was still a spectacular event. The German Weather Service previously warned of storms after extreme heat with temperatures up to 36 degrees. While the police reported a few noteworthy events, the emergency services had to deploy in about 1,400 missions, mainly due to health problems such as overheating and dehydration.
