Summer festival in Bremen: Whiskey, music and enjoyment in the Lemon Lounge!

Am Wall 175-177, 28195 Bremen, Deutschland - A special highlight is imminent for whiskey lovers! On Sunday, August 24, 2025, the event "Sun, Sound & Single Malt" will take place in the Lemon Lounge in Bremen. From 4 p.m., guests can dive into the world of Scottish whiskeys and look forward to an enjoyable experience. The event is organized by Mario Ippen, the owner of the Lemon Lounge, in cooperation with the renowned Scotch Malt Whiskey Society (SMWS) and is open to everyone, even for those who are not yet members.

What can the participants expect? The event begins with a warm welcome in which the guests can enjoy a freshly mixed whiskey cocktail. This is followed by an entertaining whiskey tasting of six exquisite single malts, while by Thom Glas, the SMWS ambassador, with stories about distilleries and the aroma profiles of the whiskeys into the matter. The participants also have the option of purchasing the tasted whiskeys. The price for the event amounts to 35 euros, including all whiskeys and the cocktail.

live music and culinary delicacies

Another pleasure awaits the guests from 6:30 p.m.: The band Baltic Scots will create a happy atmosphere with their music. If you come to the event, you can look forward to fine whiskey, but also to various culinary offers. Pizza, snacks and other drinks are available to round off the taste experience.

Participation in this event is limited because the Lemon Lounge only offers space for around 80 guests. Therefore, early registration is required. Remaining places are rare! The event takes place on the terrace of the Lemon Lounge in good weather - a perfect place to enjoy both whiskey and musical entertainment. However, if the weather does not play along, the event will be transferred to the interior, where a cozy ambience is also created.

The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society was founded in Edinburgh in 1983 and is one of the largest whiskey clubs worldwide. In cooperation with over 150 distilleries, the SMWS offers exclusive bottlings, which are usually only available for members.
