The opening is planned for the last quarter of 2025 and takes place at Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 26, corner of Neustadtswall. With a lot of commitment, a market is set up here that relies on community responsibility, transparency and sustainability.
The concept of Supercoop is simple and yet revolutionary: members of the cooperative invest a single -time 100 euros and get involved with three hours of work a month. "This reduces personnel costs and enables us to keep prices low," says the management team. Each member has a vote in the cooperative and can have a say in the range, prices and processes. This not only bought, but also actively designed.

The focus of Supercoop is clearly on the promotion of regional, seasonal and fair traded organic products. Every product that is on the shelves comes on the table under fair trade conditions, which makes members proud. Another advantage: the market is only accessible to members. So far, have already registered 280 people as members, the goal of 400 to make the project economically viable.
