Pure art and culture: season closing festival in the Center for Art!

Woltmershausen, Deutschland - in Bremen it goes high! On June 28th and 29th, 2025, the Center for Art will go to the next round and celebrate a spectacular end of the season. From 12 noon to 6 p.m., creative minds from the region and beyond are presented on both days. Entry is free and the colorful program not only promises art pleasure, but also a lot of fun for the whole family.

What can visit visitors? A real firework of performances by professional Bremen artists, but also international flair! Guests from Hamburg, Berlin, Bosnia, Croatia and even New York are expected to bring cross -divisional cooperation to life together with the local artists. There is also a dance speed dating and a "stories tent" that invites you to linger and listen.

A special feature of the festival is the workshops offered. Among other things, interested parties can visit a performance workshop with Victor Artiga Rodriguez or try out creatively with Anja Engelke in the cyanotype workshop. In addition, the University of Arts will present the results of its class "Frequencies in Motion", which promises an exciting insight into current artistic currents.

There are also a variety of exhibitions on the program for this: The art -creating Tom Gefke has launched the exhibition "M a t" with Bosnian, Croatian and German artists. Claudia Christoffel will cause a stir with "How Does Passion Smell", while Pia E. van Nuland will inspire visitors with "The Sound of A Landscape". Bernadette and Barbara Haiduck staged pictures accentuated in their photo exhibition "Mushrooms n’ Roses ". In addition, a work of art by Mark Morris will be admired in the hallway of the studio days.

The art café with a play area for the little visitors guarantees that even the youngest will get their money's worth. Open studios invite those interested to take a look behind the scenes of the visual artists. The entire festival shows once again how alive and diverse the Bremen art scene is.

The crowning glory of the end of the season will take place on June 28th at 6 p.m. when the "baton" is symbolically handed over. This special moment is not only a sign of change, but also a symbol of artistic continuity in Bremen.
