Klaus mine has enough: Scorpions star visits the pub in Blumenthal!

In Blumenthal, the basis for an entertaining movie is currently laid, which not only focuses on the local gastro scene, but also underlines the international flair of German film. Klaus Meine, the legendary singer of the band Scorpions, did not miss the opportunity to personally visit a pub called "Klaus Meine", which bears the name of his work. The reason for the visit was unmistakable resentment about the state of establishment. The appearance of the star will be part of the new movie "Superbuhei", in which mine has taken over a guest role, like the Weser-Kurier reported.

The shooting takes place in a converted hardware store in Hanover-Langenhagen, which serves as a backdrop for film production. This hardware store was selected by producers Janina Sara Hennemann and Jan Philip Lange, and the owner was pleased with the opportunity to rent his premises. The team will work in a total of 20 days of shooting, with eight planned in Blumenthal. In general, a shooting day are necessary for only four to five film minutes.

filming debut and the exciting action

"Superbuhei" is the feature film debut of Josef Brandl, an emerging talent that was previously awarded the short Tiger Award. Based on the novel by Sven Amtsberg, the story of a supermarket is located in Hanover-Langenhagen, where Jesse Bronske, played by Oliver Korittke, runs a pub. His partner Mona, embodied by Silke Bodenbender, works at the cash register. The plot promises a mixture of comedy and dark moments, since Bronske is persecuted by his malignant twin brother Aaron from which he fled.

like the Presseportal , the film is produced by a 40-member team and receives support from the talent promotion program "Northern Lights" with partnerships from NDR, Moin Filmförderung Hamburg and Nordmedia. “Superbuhe” will also be the first big film production for the aspiring talent Josef Brandl, who with his work for “The Three ???” and "the Phoenician master prank" has already gained experience.

A look at film funding

The German film industry is in a change, especially with the upcoming reforms of film funding. Future production projects, such as "Superbuhei", benefit from structural support from initiatives that are designed to promote creativity in the region. In 2022, 774 film production companies were active in Germany, a decline that stimulates thinking, but at the same time gives room for new ideas and fresh talents such as Brandl, whereby the market for German films is still very popular.

During the film in the final phase of its production, the creators will hope that "Superbuhei" will be shown at film festivals before the official theatrical release. The premiere in the cinema and the publication in the ARD Mediathek and NDR television are planned for the end of 2026. This could soon enjoy film fans a very personal insight into the adventure stories of Jesse and his challenges.

It remains exciting how production will develop and what could be the long -term potential of "Superbuhei" for the film landscape in Germany. Stay on it!
