Bremen-Nord, Deutschland - In the coming years, Autobahn 270 in Bremen-Nord will become the scene of extensive renovation measures. As early as September 2025, work on the road towards A 27 will begin, which will go hand in hand with diversions and traffic jams for residents and road users. The Weser-Kurier reports that the renovation work will affect the entire paved roadway from the Ihlpohl intersection to the Vegesack-Have junction.
The planned measures are anything but minor. In addition to the renewal of the entire upper building, the on-you and departure and the banquet on the entire route are also affected. Above all, the bridge coating is to be repaired and the paving under the bridges is to be replaced. As tense, the situation on the streets may be, Autobahn GmbH has estimated a cost of 13.3 million euros for the renovations.

Even if a goal is to avoid the full blocking of the A 270 during this work, the closures of the ongoing and descents are inevitable.

Traffic on the A 270 is expected to be led via the opposite lane, which means that only one lane will be available in both directions during the work. This can be particularly problematic for commuters. Nevertheless, there are relief in sight: From the second week of March 2025, the motorway should be completely divided into two lanes, which is a hoped -for improvement in the region, as the district newspaper reports.

In parallel to these extensive work, the B 74 at the eastern end of the A 270 towards Ritterhude will also be renewed in the autumn holidays 2025. Long -term disabilities are not expected for the repair work, but with short daily construction sites.
