JFV Bremen succumbs to Havelse: Coach warns of individual mistakes!

The JFV Bremen A-Juniors had to admit defeat 1:3 in the Regionalliga North game against TSV Havelse on August 10, 2025. Already in the third minute the game became extremely unfavorable for Bremen. A mistake by defensive player Jeffery Dwomoh opened up the opportunity for Leon Svitek to score the first goal for Havelse.

The first third of the encounter was marked by individual mistakes. In the 35th minute the score was 0-2 thanks to an unfortunate own goal by Christian Boateng Adusei, which was due to an unsuccessful shot by goalkeeper Maxim Beitel. Despite the deficit, head coach Mete Doener's team showed character and dominated the game between the 45th and 60th minutes.

Trying to catch up and individual mistakes

Christian Boateng Adusei scored the next goal in the 53rd minute, but the joy didn't last long. Just four minutes later, in the 57th minute, another individual error by captain Tom Lauerer led to Svitek making it 3-1. Bremen didn't miss opportunities to score more goals, including a shot that landed on the post and a missed opportunity from Mert Döner. Despite the defeat, the mood in the team was subdued; Doener and assistant coach Serdar Ercin had to get the players up after the game.

Mete Doener, who saw individual mistakes as crucial when analyzing the game, remains optimistic. He emphasizes the need to avoid such mistakes in the future. The next game is on August 16th against JFV Lübeck.

The future of JFV Bremen

JFV Bremen is not only characterized by the current game, but also by positive developments in the youth sector. The club recently launched a new homepage that offers clear information about teams, directions and contact options. We are currently looking for talented and motivated players for the U19 A-Youth Association League (born 2004/2005). Players who enjoy football and are willing to learn are welcome.

Under the leadership of new coach Mario Vukoja, the squad, which also includes interesting newcomers such as goalkeeper Ben Altenburg and Bora Bilgin, should perform successfully in the association league. Vukoja's goal is to lead JFV Bremen back to the top of the table and leave last season's poor performances behind them.

In the future, the JFV Bremen would also like to grow through new collaborations such as with the DJK Germania Blumenthal. The club has clear visions for the further development of its youth work. These steps are also important to avoid losing talented players to higher level clubs and are intended to promote strength at youth level.

Another aspect of the club's work is its commitment to coach development. Initiatives such as the DFB project for regional trainer development demonstrate efforts to increase the know-how of trainers and ensure targeted support. These projects not only help the JFV Bremen, but also other clubs, to achieve sustainable success.

The coming weeks and months will be crucial for JFV Bremen, both in terms of sport and structure. With a lot of commitment and the right measures, the club is well on the way to improving and delighting the fans with positive performances again.
