Hollenstedt, Niedersachsen, Deutschland - A serious motorcycle accident caused a significant sensation on Monday afternoon on the A1 motorway near Hollenstedt, Lower Saxony. The incident occurred around 3:28 p.m. when the group of British motorcyclists just wanted to leave the highway for a fuel stop. The highway was completely closed for around three hours to carry out salvage and clean-up work. The flow of traffic towards Bremen came to a standstill, and the backlog stretched over more than 14 kilometers to Seevetal-Hittfeld.
