Art blossomed in Bremen: Benjamin Winter's soulful summer exhibition!
in Bremen is again something exciting on the march! The cultural outpatient clinic has opened new exhibition rooms in the attic of the hospital museum in the Bremen-Ost Clinic and is all about art. Under the title "Finally summer", the Hamburg artist Benjamin Winter shows his fascinating acrylic work, which kidnaps visitors into his "soul landscapes". The exhibition runs from June 15th to August 31, 2025 and can be seen!
Benjamin Winter, a self -taught man who creates his art in a small studio, has a lot to tell a lot as a former member of the Hamburg studio of light signs, which supports artists with health restrictions. As part of the exhibition, visitors get insights into their visual worlds, the houses, landscapes as well as coastal and outdoor pool scenes combine. At the invitation of the curator Achim Tischer, Winter brought his works to Bremen, and the response couldn't be better.
naive art with depth
What distinguishes Winter's art? The emotional nuances of his pictures are particularly remarkable. The image figures often show an irritating lack of emotion that challenges the viewers. "Naive Art" describes what can be done winter, and he succeeds without falling into the pathos. His works depict the snapshots of fleeting everyday life and reflect light and shadow worlds of life. The versatile topics range from storm floods and cloud formation to the lively memories of childhood, such as tobogganing children on snow -covered hills.
In a short video, winter can be seen where he speaks openly about his psychoses - a courageous step that sharpens the awareness of mental health. Art and sharing of personal experiences can have a healing effect, as art therapy also shows. This increasingly takes up an important place in the field of mental health by using creative techniques such as painting and sculpture to reduce emotional tensions and promote well -being [artbooksheidelberg.de] that the creative process encourages clients to express their thoughts and feelings, regardless of their artistic skills.
