Huchting receives 75,000 euros for 15 future -oriented projects!

In the Huchting district, a lot is happening! The advisory board has now awarded the first tranche of global funds for 2025, which comprises a total of 75,471.77 euros. This gives 15 clubs and institutions a welcome financial support, which should help to promote the common good on site. These funds are not simply out of air because they come from a decision by the citizens and are intended to support local and district-related measures. Weser Kurier reports that the advisory board decides on the award of these funds.

Before the advisory board meeting, two applicants were served: The “We for Huchting” association can look forward to 4,000 euros, and the youth council even received 10,000 euros. These funds are used specifically for projects that serve social participation and integration, but are also intended for culture and sport. Ortsamt Huchting explains that the global funds are not only intended for youth facilities and sports clubs, but also for activities that develop in schools and day care centers.

What is encouraged?

The donations of the advisory board flow into various projects. The approved grants include:

• 800 euros for the foreign leisure club legendary to purchase chairs and television.

But how do these funds come to the clubs? The application is carried out by a defined procedure that ensures that all applicants are treated equally. A real step, because global funds should primarily be used as complementary means - this means that own funds or donations should also flow into the projects. Ortsamt West describes that the applications must be submitted by March 31 of a year in order to be taken into account for the first round of the award. The final decision will then be made in May.
