The anticipation for August 31, 2025 is growing in Findorff. On this day the club celebrates Findorff businessmen its 40th anniversary! From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Hemmstrasse between the Patisserie Tortengold and the Jan Reiners Center will be transformed into a pulsating festival mile. Here you can expect not only individual shopping opportunities, but also a colorful program that has a lot to offer for young and old.
From music to art to culinary delights – the event promises pure entertainment. Street artists await visitors who bring the streets to life. The musical acts include performances byCladatje, who will set the mood with klezmer music, as well as theDuo Denis & Kai, which delights with blues and soul. The Theater Pikante also has something special in store for guests, as they present humorous scenes with the twin sisters Else and Ilse. The stilt artist will make your eyes widenMotley Glow, who juggles his impressive soap bubbles.
A feast for all senses
Of course, physical well-being is not neglected either. Numerous food trucks and local restaurants offer a wide selection of delicacies, so there is something for every taste. Craft stalls also enrich the festive day and invite visitors to live out their creativity with interactive hands-on activities. On this day, numerous shops are open and offer special promotions so that visitors can get their money's worth. The association is not only committed to celebrating the anniversary, but also to supporting campaigns such as the Christmas tree at Findorffmarkt and the “flying bags” for primary school students
Katrin Grosch, a board member of the association, expressed her enthusiasm in advance about the upcoming shopping Sunday, during which the anniversary day will also be celebrated. She sees great potential in highlighting the achievements of the last 40 years while strengthening the community.
Debriefing and outlook
On Monday, September 1st, 2025, at 7:15 p.m., there will be one in the café because of you“Evening Talk”take place where the highlights of the festival are discussed. It will become clear how the celebration was received and what issues continue to affect the local community. Participation in this conversation requires registration and costs 10 euros per person. On Friday, September 12, 2025, the association also invites you to a guided evening“Findorff reads”one where everything revolves around the topic of reading and literature.
A small note to all visitors: In order to ensure a smooth journey, Hemmstrasse will remain open to traffic on the day of the event. However, parking spaces are not available, which is why arriving by bus, train or bicycle is recommended.
Club anniversaries, such as the upcoming one Findorff businessmen, are a great opportunity to foster community spirit and celebrate members’ commitment. Not only do they provide a reason to celebrate, but they can also generate significant additional revenue for the club and stimulate interest in memberships.
