The aim is to strengthen biological diversity and adaptability to climate change in urban spaces, such as the Weser-Kurier The project is borne by the environmental department, Bremen Environmental Consulting (BUB) and the Artec Research Center for Sustainability at the University of Bremen. Exciting measures have already become visible in the Lindenhofviertel and the Riedemannstraße/Reiherstraße industrial area. These include the conversion of surfaces into flower strips on Bromberger Straße and refined sidewalks on Liegnitzstraße.Another example of successful commitment comes from the trade. At an event on nature -related company premises, organized by the Environment Center in Hanover, it was emphasized how important it is that industrial companies also become active. Here it was discussed about natural solutions, helping companies to promote biodiversity and at the same time address climatic challenges.
