International trade fair for mobility and rehabilitation opens in Bremen!

In Bremen there will be a big event next year that attracts not only experts, but also people with disabilities and their relatives. The international rehabilitation and mobility fair for all (IRMA) will take place from June 26 to 28, 2025 in Hall 7 of the Bremen exhibition center. The fair opens its doors every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers numerous products and services from the field of rehabilitation and mobility on over 4,000 m².

What can visitors expect: on the inside? The fair shows a variety of aids that make life easier. These include wheelchairs, walkers, manual bikes and scooters, as well as disabled cars and care aids. The little visitors are also taken care of: the focus is also on children's rehabilitation and aids. Various advisory services from clubs and associations offer support in the areas of care and therapy, medical care and accessible travel.

lectures and entertainment

In addition to the exhibitors, IRMA will also offer free lectures from specialized experts. These are intended to help visitors to find out more about various supply areas and to exchange experiences. If you are traveling at the fair, you can also look forward to entertainment: demonstrations by assistant dogs and various raffle ensure an entertaining frame.

For everyone who wants to prepare optimally for your visit, it is advisable to go through the list of exhibitors in advance. This directory contains a comprehensive list of exhibiting companies and associations and enables a targeted search for special products or services. This was also recommended, for example, on rehacare.de to ensure that interested parties do not miss any important information.

accessibility and participation

The rehabilitation and mobility fair stands as part of a trend in society as a whole to improve the participation for people with impairments. A study shows that about 90 % of people with impairments see action to improve accessibility in public infrastructure. This also remains a central concern in the current reporting, which focuses on changing the understanding of disabilities and aims to improve the life situation of people with impairments, as on bar-frankfurt.de described in detail.

Admission to the fair costs 10 euros per person, whereby the accompanying person of a disabled visitor with the note "B" has free time in the ID card. Admission is also free of charge for children up to 16 years old, pupils, students, civil service workers and trainees. Parking is sufficiently available, access takes place via Theodor-Heuss-Allee in Bremen. The fair can be visited for further information: www.irma-messe.de .
