TSV Etelsen and SG Otterstedt: Wildcard for the DM in old men's football!

Blumenthal, Bremen, Deutschland - football fans from Bremen can be happy: The Ü32 soccer players of TSV Etelsen have big plans! After more than ten years of break, they take part in the German old men championships for the second time. Participation was actually marinated in Oyten with a performance in the first championship in 2015, where Etelsen took ninth place. This year, however, the team will go into the next round for the team with fresh vigor and a wildcard that they received after TuS Jöllenbeck canceled. SG Otterstedt also takes part in a wildcard and promises exciting games.

The championships will take place next Friday and Saturday on the sports facility of TV Jahn Schneverdingen, and the field of participants has it all: 40 teams, including well -known clubs such as Hamburger SV, VfB Lübeck and the defending champion FT Braunschweig, face the challenge in gripping matches. In the group, Etelsen has to compete with the SG Asel-Harsum from Lower Saxony, Germania Blumenthal from Bremen and VfB Ottersleben from Saxony-Anhalt.

Last week, the Etelseners were able to set an example in the semi -finals of the district championship by winning 3: 1 against the TuSG Ritterhude. Kevin Bähr described the victory as deserved and raved about the team performance, where the opening goal fell through Dennis Wiedekamp in the 23rd minute. Weser Kurier reported: The team went shortly before the half-time break, easy unsettled in the second half. But with a strong performance by Bähr, who prepared the 2-1 and finally scored the 3: 1, the Etelseners were able to secure the victory and move into the final.

In the semi -finals of the district championship, Etelsen meets SG Stinstedt/Düring, and the anticipation is great. The game kicks off on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in Etelsen.
