Football fever in Bremen: Lotto Masters promise exciting duels!

On September 30, 2025 the time had finally come: the draw for the Lotto Masters in Bremen was made in the Weserstadion. Sarah Kettler from Lotto Bremen and Lars Thiemann from Sparkasse Bremen had the honor of presenting the groups. There is great anticipation for exciting encounters and it should be an exciting tournament for all football fans.

The Bremerhaven teams in particular have the chance to prove themselves in Group 1. The following teams compete against each other:

• Bremerhavener Bremen-Ligisten
• FC Oberneuland
• TV Eiche Horn

Group 2 includes the defending champions Bremer SV, who are the only regional league team represented in this competition, while SV Hemelingen, Blumenthaler SV and Brinkumer SV also don't want to miss their chances. Holger Franz, the vice president of the Bremen Football Association (BFV), was enthusiastic about the large number of teams taking part and hopes that there will be a lot of interest from spectators.

LOTTO Cup for women and men

At the same time, the draw for the women's and men's LOTTO cups for the 2024/2025 season also took place. Prof. Dr. Eva Quante-Brandt, President of the Bremen State Sports Association, will present the first short groups and the future tournament schedule. A total of 11 teams are competing in the women's LOTTO Cup. There will be three round of 16 matches to determine participants for the quarterfinal round.

The defending champion ATS Buntentor will have to prove themselves against the winner of the game between Blumenthaler SV and SG FUMS UNITED/ ATSV Sebaldsbrück. Fortunately, ATS Buntentor have an exciting game coming up in the DFB Cup, where they will face Hertha BSC Berlin from August 17th to 19th.

The course of the game

A total of 58 teams take part in the men's LOTTO Cup. Here Bremer SV is rewarded with a bye in the first round. Five other teams also received a bye. The second round will be exciting because the pairings are determined automatically and the exact dates will be announced on FUSSBALL.DE in the coming days.
