There will be an important change in traffic volumes in Bremen from Monday, October 13th. The Uphusen/Bremen-Mahndorf junction on the A1 will probably be completely closed until Friday, October 24th. The reason for this measure is extensive work on Uphuser Heerstrasse, which requires a thorough renewal of the roadway. During this time, all entrances and exits to the junction cannot be used. Road users are asked to use alternative junctions such as Bremen-Hemelingen, Bremen-Sebaldsbrück, Oyten or Achim-Nord. The diversion route leads via the L158 in the direction of Achim, then on the L167 (Zum Achimer Bahnhof) through Embsen to Oyten and finally on the L168 in the direction of Bremen. These measures were deliberately taken during the autumn break so as not to affect school bus traffic. Extensive road inspection
