The ranking is compiled every five years by the German GVZ Society. In 2025 it will be clear once again: Bremen is not only the oldest freight transport center in Germany, but also the European hub in the logistics industry. With its trimodal connection - by road, rail and water - the GVZ is a prime example of modern logistics.

A pioneer in sustainability and technology

With 1.2 million square meters of hall space and the BLG Logistics Group's largest high-rise warehouse in Europe, the GVZ demonstrates impressive dimensions. Historically, the GVZ Bremen is an important transshipment point for goods in the Bremen ports. The grain transport facility from 1900 is evidence of the center's long tradition.
