The Great Football Fever: Indiana High School Starts the Sectionals!
The wait is over! Preparations for the 2025 Indiana High School Football Tournament are in full swing and the excitement is rising! The sectionals for classes A-5A begin on October 24th, while 6A does not start the preliminary round until October 31st. It's clear that Indiana football fans can look forward to an exciting tournament, culminating in the state championship games on November 28th and 29th. The Indystar reports that the draw of the Sectionals is scheduled for Sunday and the pairings will be posted immediately on IHSAAtv.org.
There is a lot to win for every team. The Sectional Championship games are scheduled for November 7th and there is no room for error! If you want to advance to the next round, you have to give it your all. Here are the first pairings listed by class:

Important details and rules
Tickets for the games are digital and cost $7 per person; Children up to 5 years have free entry. But be careful: payments in cash are not accepted! Instead, proof of ticket purchase on your mobile phone must be presented upon entry. Digital tickets can be purchased via Eventlink, although additional fees may apply. If you can't watch the games in person, you can check online at IHSAAtv.org to see if the games will be broadcast.
Strict rules also apply to the games played: bringing banners, posters or any electrical equipment that is not permitted at events is prohibited. All in all, a fair and cheerful sporting experience is promised!
The IHSAA is in for an exciting season and we can't wait to see who will end up with the title. All teams will give their best and the games promise lots of action! So watch out when it starts on October 24th!
