Long Night of Stages: Bremen invites you to art and magic for the whole family!

Next Saturday, September 21, 2025, the eagerly awaited “Long Night of Stages” will take place in Bremen. This special event promises to get the city's creative heart beating, as around 20 Bremen theaters will open their doors and present numerous highlights. Like the page buten and within reports, the aim of this night is to attract new guests and inspire a broad audience for the diversity of the performing arts.

Among the highlighted offerings, the Blaumeier Atelier will show its performance “Between. On Drifting, Shaking, Driving,” which will be performed three times in a version shortened to around 30 minutes. This fascinating performance combines improvised elements and tells a story that takes place in front of, next to and around a train station kiosk. The actors take on different roles, including a rocker with an air guitar and a character who supplies himself with sweets. In addition, the “Magic Magic Show” is offered for little visitors aged four and over.

Program and schedule of the event

The event runs from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and offers a colorful program of open rehearsals, excerpts from theater productions, performances and concerts. For younger guests there is a special family program from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by an evening program that runs until 10:00 p.m. The closing ceremony will take place at 9:30 p.m. in the Falstaff at the Bremen Shakespeare Company.
