TSV Borgfeld U14 girls conquer silver at northern German championships!

A big day for the fistball youth in Bremen! The female U14 team of TSV Borgfeld fought the vice title at the North German Championships. The team not only secured the silver medal, but also the qualification for the German championship next September. As the Weser-Kurier was particularly remarkable, since previously important players were not available for age reasons. Nevertheless, the girls demonstrated impressive defense work and creative attack tactics.

The U14 girls of TSV Borgfeld showed

in the group phase. In the first game against TV Brettorf, a narrow victory was achieved in the first set, but the second set was lost, so the final result was 1: 1. The game went much better in the game against TSV Kellinghusen, which they won 2-0. Also in the second duel against TV Brettorf, they did not let themselves be ripped off and went 2-0 as the winner. However, a completely different picture was shown in the final against the MTV Diepenau, where they were 0: 2 because they missed the solutions against the opponent's compact style of play.
