The book, published by Kellner Verlag, offers an exciting insight into the world of crime fiction with 17 stories with local North German color from varied locations such as East Frisian islands and small coastal towns. The reading will be organized by three talented authors from the Bremen crime fiction regulars' table: Nina Schindler, Mirjam Phillips and Alexa Stein. Nina Schindler will read from her story “Beach Chair Whisper”, while Mirjam Phillips will captivate the audience with “The Right Moment”. Finally, Alexa Stein presents her story “Nice Guests”. The “Crime Time” festival
The 27th Bremen Crime Festival, which takes place in September and October, will be complemented this year by an exciting collaboration with Sujet Verlag. Two high-profile authors are expected as guests: Atef Abu Saif, a Palestinian writer and former culture minister, and the Iranian German scholar Mahmood Falaki. Abu Saif will read from his novel “Life in Limbo”, while Falaki will present his work “Tödliche Fremde” in the Sujet Verlag event room.https://crimetime-bremen.de/
This year, the festival is particularly dedicated to the west of Bremen, which will act as a crime scene for numerous criminal events. Special venues such as the Old Fire Station serve as an operations center and the first crime scene, which further reinforces the criminal atmosphere.https://crimetime-bremen.de/
