A bitter loss of points for Leverkusen
After the game, Leverkusen's captain Robert Andrich was visibly disappointed with the loss of a point. The team had come so close to a win and now had to settle for a draw. Flekken, who made some mistakes that gave Bremen opportunities, was also heavily criticized.
