Diverse events in Bremen: Discover the highlights of the week!

Something is happening again in the Hanseatic city of Bremen! An exciting week full of diversity awaits us from September 30th to October 6th. Workshops, concerts and fairytale markets bring a breath of fresh air into the city. Our animal welfare is particularly important to the organizers: On September 30th, a workshop on building hedgehog houses will take place in the Gröpiland community garden. Under the guidance of Elisabeth Kolfhaus from the Bremer Umweltberatung, those interested can put their craftsmanship to the test from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration via VHS Bremen is required to become part of this exciting project.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg! The impressive exhibition “Cold as ice” awaits us in the Weserburg Museum. Here art is used to address significant social challenges. This exhibition is open from September 30th to March 15th, 2026 - definitely worth a visit! It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and admission costs 12 euros (free for children and young people up to 18 years of age) [reports Weser-Kurier](https://www.weser-kurier.de/bremen/stadtteil-walle/ Veranstaltungstipps-fuer-die-woche-vom-30-september-bis-6-oktober-doc82ioo5s2a9h161iwgm8d).

Cultural highlights of the week

September 30th not only offers the hedgehog houses, but also a workshop in the Vegesack City Library that will help participants recognize and use their own strengths. You will also go on a discovery tour on the Soundwalk through Woltmershausen at 10:30 a.m. - registration is also mandatory here.

On October 2nd, the children can look forward to “Dance Fit” in the Huchting City Library, a free event at 4 p.m. On the same evening, the creative team final of the Poetry Slam Championship is on the program, followed by a 90s party at Club Modernes, which starts at 11 p.m. Here everyone has the opportunity to reminisce!
