A special highlight is the old pumping station in Findorff, which, as a museum of Bremen's underworld, offers interesting insights into the hygiene and city history before the sewage system. Here, visitors can not only admire historical pumps, but also explore the walkable canal. The pumping station is a place where history comes to life.

The Thielen storage facility at Vegesack harbor in particular has an exciting past. Previously an important port of call for shipping, the building has housed the Bremen-Nord Fencing Club since 1980. The two floors of the warehouse have been lovingly converted into training facilities and a clubhouse and invite you to linger.

Insights into the Freemason tradition

Another fascinating destination on Sunday is the lodge house of the Bremen Masonic Lodge. This former mansion will be opened to the public on this day. In small groups, the Freemasons lead through the historical rooms and provide exciting insights into the brotherhood.
